Thank you for choosing HSEP! The purpose of HSEP's orientation is to teach incoming volunteers about their role at the shelter, available volunteer positions, shelter opportunities, and more! Once, you have completed your in-person orientation, you can schedule your Whisker Warrior training here: https://hselpaso.volunteermatters.org/project-catalog/20 If you are 10 minutes or more late to your orientation, you will be asked to sign up for a different date.

Off-site adoptions are so much fun and are a great way to help our animal residents get out into the community and find their fur-ever homes. These events are usually held at PetSmart or Petco locations, but we go to other community events every once in a while. To do that, we need your help! Volunteers are crucial to this program because we can only take as many animals as we have volunteers participating. Note: If you show up to the shelter to help, the system will allow you to sign in early. Whisker Warrior training is required before you can attend an off-site event.
